FPCG’s Jacksonville office provides a dedicated regional connection for fire protection engineering, code consulting, and life-safety services across Florida and the Eastern United States. Led by Matthew Morse, P.E., the office combines FPCG’s full technical capabilities with Matt’s long-standing experience living and working in Florida, along with his knowledge of the region, project conditions, and local industry relationships.
From Jacksonville, Matt helps connect architects, owners, contractors, and project teams with the right FPCG resources for each project, including fire protection systems, fire alarm and low-voltage design, code consulting, smoke control, fire water, commissioning, and field services.

Area Lead | Houston Office
Matt leads FPCG’s Eastern U.S. region from the Jacksonville office, serving as a primary connection for clients and project teams throughout Florida and the broader Eastern United States.
A Florida resident since 2009, Matt brings years of experience working across the region and a strong understanding of local project conditions, industry relationships, and the coordination challenges that can come with complex facilities. His background includes fire protection engineering, system commissioning and integration, renovation of existing occupancies, aircraft hangar fire suppression, Qualified Fire Protection Engineer services, and complex fire protection coordination.
Matt’s approach is practical and collaborative—helping clients connect with the right FPCG specialists while keeping solutions technically sound, constructible, and effective in the field.
